Each DWe shell is constructed from nine-ply North American Hard Rock Maple using DW’s patented 333 shell configuration, delivering punchy fundamentals and natural resonance. When used electronically, the mesh heads and internal trigger system produce a subtle, low-volume acoustic response that lets the player hear pitch and feel dynamics without stage wash or excessive bleed.

Electronic performance is powered by DW’s proprietary DrumLink wireless ecosystem, enabling low-latency, cable-free triggering with multi-zone sensing and up to 18 dynamic layers per drum or cymbal. The included DrumLink USB hub converts wireless trigger data into MIDI, allowing integration with DW Soundworks software or third-party virtual instruments for studio and live playback.

This rental package includes the DW DWe electronic cymbal pack, delivering an authentic cymbal playing experience with three-zone triggering, raised bell design, natural edge choke, and a 360-degree playing surface. Metal crash and ride cymbals provide realistic stick rebound and durability, while the two-piece hi-hat delivers natural foot response and splash articulation.

Sound output and recording are handled via the included Roland Rubix24 USB audio interface, providing high-resolution 24-bit / 192 kHz audio with low noise and reliable USB connectivity for Mac and PC systems.
