Ayrton Argo 6 FX Lighting Fixture Rental

The Argo 6 FX is a weather-sealed, multi-source effects luminaire from Ayrton, created to deliver the same creative freedom indoors as outdoors. Designed specifically for professional lighting rental inventories, Argo 6 FX combines high-impact visual effects, precision movement, and IP65 protection in a compact, tour-ready platform.

Optical performance is driven by a proprietary system built around a large 280 mm front lens cluster with 19 truncated PMMA lenses and matched glass light guides featuring micro-structured output surfaces. This architecture delivers a powerful, uniform beam with a 14:1 zoom ratio and a wide working range of 4° to 56°, allowing Argo 6 FX to function as a tight effects beam, wide wash, or layered scenic tool
within demanding lighting rental applications.

The light engine consists of 19 high-power 40 W RGB-W LEDs using additive color synthesis, producing up to 13,000 lumens with a CRI up to 86. Advanced color control includes a virtual color wheel, dynamic color macros, and smooth fades with no visible color shadowing.
Flicker-free source management makes Argo 6 FX suitable for broadcast, film, and camera-critical lighting rentals.

Argo 6 FX is purpose-built as an effects fixture. Its integrated LiquidEffect™ system, enhanced by a translucent honeycomb structure, generates complex 2D and 3D graphical effects. Individual pixel control, built-in pattern effects, and the ability to combine effects with beam, wash,
or matrix looks give designers a powerful creative toolset for concerts, festivals, immersive experiences, and architectural lighting rentals.

Movement is uncompromised, with infinite pan and tilt rotation and highly accurate positioning selectable at 8- or 16-bit resolution. A robust thermal design—including a submersible ventilation system, variable-speed fans, and intelligent temperature protection—ensures stable operation in harsh environments. Integrated LumenRadio™ CRMX wireless control and support for DMX, RDM, Art-Net, and sACN make Argo 6 FX easy to deploy across modern lighting rental systems.
